Watery ventures

I have ended up in some damp places lately. And I hate bathing sulks. Still, a warden always loves an opportunity ter pose with her shield, so there's something!

Travelling the world looking fer mathoms can lead yer into the stickiest of places, and no mistake. Recently, though, I have found meself in places less sticky than outright wet and watery.

Them falls of Rowrows

There was that one time I stumbled upon a rather large waterfall way in the east. There were no mathoms there, but the views were somewhat awe-inspiring if yer into that sort of thing. Now imagine if all that water were brandy or somet? Ooh!

Them locals called this the falls of Rowrows. I bet them need ter row twice as fast on that river ter avoid being pulled away with the current. Aye, I am sure that explains the name!

Cogs and wheels

Almost wetter still were some lost caves full of malfunctioning dwarven machinery. Lots of wheels and cogs and clever levers in there, not ter mention some cave-dwellers of a somewhat nasty disposition.

I went there twice, once with Nimelia and Tibba, and once again with Halfo and Tibba. There was a lot of huffing and puffing running them stairs, I tell yer! And me biscuits near went damp and soggy shivers And worst of all? No mathoms ter be found!

Pictures and things

Want ter see some drawings from them trips? Just look below!

And if yer think yer have it in yer ter join us Mathomers when we scour the world looking fer mathoms, just have a look at our notice board! All good hobbit fun, with parties, music, adventures, hobbit lore and secrets!

Did I say secrets? Hush!
