Busy days ahead!

A hobbit's life is never boring!

Phew - the play last Sunday went quite well! But we had only just performed it before a few hobbits wanted us ter repeat some of the first plays we set up. And suddenly there's a whole lot of other things to do as well!

First things first, us GOATs are very pleased with how our latest play turned out. We all remembered our lines, the audience behaved grand, and we had a good time partying afterwards.

The day after, I got me appetite back as well. Monday turned into one continuous meal, really, stopping only fer a visit to the market in Michel Delving. And there's another tonight at 8PM BST, if yer would like ter come browse them stalls fer quality hobbity goods.

The weeks ahead look busy, though. In a moment of instant joy and happiness, we promised ter repeat our first play, "The Strangest of Fish", in just two weeks time (Sunday October 30th). It has been near two years now since first we performed it. It is much shorter than our latest ones, but it has a soft spot in our hearts, I think. After all, this is the one that started it all!

Before that, we'll have the fancy dress and scary walk Thursday October 27th. And then, the following weeks, the Songburrow Strollers are signed up ter play both at the Breeland autumn ball on November 1st and the Archet Aid concert on November 7th. No rest fer the wicked, it seems! Glad I managed ter buy many biscuits at the market last night!
