Premiere night

And as usual, me nerves are shot...

It is Sunday! And tonight is the big night! The premiere of the play "In Search of Hope", performed by the Grand Order Acting Troupe (GOAT)!

Being an amateur actor can be good fun, but the week before the premiere of a new play? Brrr... words like "harrowing", "turmoil", "anguish" and "sleeplessness" doesn't even begin ter describe the horror of the last days before the curtain rises. And the worst part? Me appetite plummets. From me regular seven meals a day (with a few biscuits thrown in between fer good measure), I gradually go to six, five... three.. and the premiere day itself, I am unable ter eat at all.

All sorts of things can go wrong at the premiere. Yer can fumble the lines. Them special effects won't work. Yer can stumble and fall off stage. The audience hates the story. It will rain! Goblins will attack!! Lobelia will show up!!!

coughs

Usually, it all ends well, though. And the first meal after the premiere? Nothing ever tastes as good.

So read the official play announcement! And come to 4 Brookbank Street in Songburrow, Shire homesteads well before the play starts at 7:30PM BST (2:30PM servertime). Enjoy!

And remember, as us GOATs like ter say:

An actor's life is hard, but it's worth it all, my friend If you go out and buy us ale and biscuits in the end
