The Grand Order 15th Anniversary Song

Fifteen going on sixteen! Here's the Grand Order 15th anniversary song!

About the song

Every anniversary needs a song! Although I sometimes don't have time to write them. This time, though, since our kinship was fifteen years old, I just had to.

Best sung to "Out of Time" by them Rolling Stones lads, this tries to cram in as much trivia about the Grand Order as is possible in a relatively short text. Nimelia complained about the forge lines. She's been trying to build them at our hall for at least ten years. Oh well... it will never happen. Never!

The Grand Order 15th Anniversary Song

Join us this October night
With festive dress and candles bright

A toast with wine and the very best of Shire beers

Come rain or sunny weather
We'll sing a song together

For the Order celebrates our first fifteen years

With mathoms, brandy and mice for fifteen years
We've had Badgers, Strollers and pies for fifteen years
And we have no forge

But lots of food for us upon to gorge

We've been here at Brookbank Street for fifteen years

In Songburrow we found our home
Safe from strife and things that roam
Except that vile oinker that everyone fears

Come rain or sunny weather
We'll sing a song together

For the Order celebrates our first fifteen years

With mushrooms, dishes and teas for fifteen years
We've had field trips, bounders and cheese for fifteen years

Neighbours good and grand

All the finest you'll find in hobbit land
We've been here at Brookbank Street for fifteen years

Songbirds, drumming and books for fifteen years
We've had Quickpost hobbits and cooks for fifteen years

Neighbours good and grand

All the finest you'll find in hobbit land

We've been here at Brookbank Street for fifteen years

Mathoms, brandy and mice for fifteen years
We've had Badgers, Strollers and pies for fifteen years

And we have no forge

But lots of food for us upon to gorge

We've been here at Brookbank Street for fifteen years

Out of Time

And here is the original tune by The Rolling Stones
