A dastardly video of dastardly hobbit yule dastardliness.
A little more than a week ago, I was looking for things to do for the 2019 hobbity yule calendar. The yule calendar has new entries every day in the period of December 1st-24th, with various hobbity yule surprises: screenshots, tales, poems, yule traditions and the like. This time, though, I pondered on making a short video very quickly.
I sometimes get these urges to slap something together very fast. Not sure why, although it is good fun to put these self-imposed limitations on me work and see how things turn out. So I popped up to Forochel without an idea of what to do, then just went with the flow and saw what ideas would flow towards me. I spent a little more than 90 minutes shooting video in-game, employing the help of my kin member Potty for some scenes. Afterwards I spent around an hour splicing things together in my video editor, creating the video and uploading it.
Things are a little rough here and there, but all in all I am satisfied with how things turned out. Not least because I manage to wrap up the conclusion to the story rather quickly in the end.
