The bounders deserve a song. So here is one! Although, I am not sure they will like it...
About the song
One of the recurring in-jokes in the Laurelin hobbit community is that the bounders really are a lazy lot, only content when they can spend half the day drinking ale and the rest snoozing in the shade of a rock. Well, at least the rest of us think so. The bounders strenuously object to such vile slander (usually over the third mug of ale at the inn...). Still, it makes for a fun song subject, so here yer go.
Best sung to "Waitin' on a Sunny Day" by Bruco Springrock (or was it Bruce Springsteen?), the song was first performed during the Brandy Badgers' owlsfestation in Stock on May 16th 2016. Yer can listen to the song below.

Lyrics: The Bounders Song
The Shire, slumbering through restful times Never do we see any crimes Safe from harm and wicked ways
All quiet, save for rumbling sounds from a ditch Thundering at rock-bottom pitch Snoring with no shame nor grace
The bounders, snoozing half the day away Drinking all the ales on their way Napping by a rock today
A feather, worn with pride in earth-coloured caps Fluttering through long-lasting naps Lazy are the bounders' ways
But harken, every bounder pledges to work Duty is not theirs to shirk When an inn is in their gaze
The bounders, snoozing half the day away Drinking all the ales on their way Napping by a rock today
A kitten, hiding in a tree by the farm Must be saved from danger and harm Brought down to its owner today
And surely, there's no better rescue approach Than to go and sleep on the porch Let the kitten make its own way
The bounders, snoozing half the day away Drinking all the ales on their way Napping by a rock today
Waitin' on a Sunny Day
