Strum the lute, toot the flute! More hobbit bands play on Laurelin! Hooray!
Music is important for hobbits. Songs help keep old tales from the Shire alive, make the working day easier and liven up any party or inn night. Of which there are quite a few!
So, it is not surprising that the hobbit music scene on Laurelin is alive and thriving. Long-time bands like The Songburrow Strollers, Hobbit Heart, The Brandy Badgers and The Bramblebury Whatstheirnames play regularly. In the past, we have also seen bands like The Pied Pipers, The Golden Redfish, The Barefoot Bootleggers and more. Recently, more hobbit bands have appeared, and here are some of them.
Brandywine and Biscuits
Yesterday, the relatively new band Brandywine and Biscuits performed at the Green Dragon. As yer can see from the drawing below, the audience sure loved their music.

The Evendim Hillbillies
Last Sunday, The Evendim Hillbillies performed their first-ever concert in Oatbarton. With a lively set of rural music played at a local farm, the Hillbillies drew a fine crowd who spent little time throwing themselves into the dance.

And more
More bands have also appeared lately. The Pootlers have played a couple of times at the Green Dragon already, as have Pudding Riot. Many hobbits also play together as duos or trios without a band name.
In addition, some bands on Laurelin have a healthy amount of hobbits among their members, without being hobbit-only. Both The Chosen Few and The Andune Ensemble are home to several hobbit musicians.
This bodes well for the Shire music scene on Laurelin in them months to come. There might even be a concert for hobbit bands coming up! Visit The Bramblebury Gazette and the Grand Order noticeboard to keep up with the news!
