Bring mittens!
The song Far Over The Misty Mountains Cold has long been a favourite, not least since quite a few dwarves have become good friends and regulars at the Green Dragon. So naturally, I had ter try make a video of it. Here is the result!
Ever since the first Trailer of the upcoming Hobbit movie was released, most musicians in Lord of the Rings Online have scoured the web for midis or ABC versions of Misty Mountains Cold they could play in the game. Sadly, there are precious few good versions of the song out there.
However, I found a midi from Larry's hobbit music, which I used as the base for some editing. Us hobbits in the Grand Order have played it together and enjoyed it immensely. For the video, I shot some in-game footage, added sound effects and spliced it all together. And here is the result.
A little later this weekend, I'll try put up a post about how I made the video. It took some work, but rather less than I had originally thought.
