Last Sunday saw the Waymeet auction take place! Many hobbits and a few dwarves had met up ter browse the offered goods and bid, bid, bid ferociously!
There is obviously no shortage of coin in the Shire, because many of the auctions went all the way up to the maximum bid limit of 100 silver coins. Under the watchful eye of auctioneer Jerremiah and shirriff Nimelia, the following auctions took place.
Tibba, chipped iris flower vase. Bought by Amorey Rhinnie, fishing pole. Bought by Dittany. Sum, sabretooth trophy. Bought by Givurix. Yllisa, steel-bound lockbox. Bought by Sevelda. Sevelda, tundra-bear trophy. Bought by Jom. Simbo, Shield of the Shire. Bought by Chicorya. Mebenca, an odd parchment. Bought by Chives.
Me apologies if some of the names are incorrect, it was a busy night with a lot of things going on!
Entertainment was offered by the Little Clovers during the break, and miss Chives played a few songs at the end. A travelling (s)alesman even came by and offered ales from Thorin's Gate.
