Fox and Fiddle Friday @ Nobottle

What? Surely yer mean Green Dragon Friday? Naw! This Friday we’re at the Fox and Fiddle in Nobottle!

So Barmy over at the Green Dragon is busy this week. The Farmer’s Faire is about to start in Bywater, and he’ll be all busy cooking fer the guests that wanders around outside. And, not least, that gluttony mayor of ours, Ol’ Flourdumpling. So Barmy pleaded, PLEADED us he did, ter try find a different venture fer the night.

So we figured we’d try one of them inns over in Yondershire! The Fox and Fiddle inn in Nobottle is the closest, and innkeep Arno Diggle will welcome us with open arms. He promises us ales at half the price of Barmy’s brands and good cheer.

So here, fer yer convenience, is all them details:

Fox and Fiddle Friday, August 12, 7:30M-9:30PM UK (2:30PM – 4:30PM /servertime).

And as always, usual Green Dragon Guidelines apply, which means this is an in-character event by and for hobbits. The odd visiting dwarf is always welcome, though!

A visit to distant relatives – part 3 @ Ravenmere
Aug 13 @ 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
A visit to distant relatives - part 3 @ Ravenmere

After three dinners (and one of them being a GRAND dinner), and two glorious lunches, Hobbits made their way to the entrance of Lone Lands. Will they be able to find more glorious meals on the way? Or it was the last one they found? These are the questions even Saelo himself wouldn’t be able to answer!

But to find those answer, come join the Hobbit hoard walking towards Enedwaith on August 13th, at seven bell! They will be departing from The Onion Inn, run by Master Geoadoc, located in Breeland Homesteads.

Date: Saturday August 13
Time: 7:00 PM UK Time, 2PM server time
Location: The Onion Inn, 5 Long Steer, Ravenmere, Breeland Homesteads

OOC

The initial aim of this journey is visiting Maur Tulhau in Enedwaith, while stopping in different settlements on the way. The whole journey will be spread through a long time span, and each leg will take place bi-weekly, either on Saturday or on Sunday (it will be announced beforehand every time). There is no fixed length of legs, meaning we can freely get distracted by stuff on the road for any reason, without rushing to make it to the end goal of the leg. We also might spend some time there (probably a day), doing some fun stuff.

Although the event is mostly about Hobbits, other races we would meet on the way with their stories are welcome as well, even if it means being dragged out of the path.

There is no level requirement to join the event, there will be enough hobbits to protect you

The Great Shire Cluck-Off: North Downs @ Sandson's farm

The Great Shire Cluck-Off: North Downs @ Sandson's farm

All the things we have to hendure!

Date: Sunday 21st August 2022
Time:  7.00 PM UK time/2:00 PM server time
Location: Sandson’s Farm, The Delving Fields, The Shire

Tis time for another Grand Order of the Lost Mathom and Hobbitry-in-Arms hendeavor!

Are you downy folk ready to go to the North Downs and get plucked for pillows? That is, have you ever dreamt of being a chicken? Roaming around with your feet in the dirt, eating worms, living your most feathery life? This could become a reality! It’s time to Fly The Coop and plant our feet into the wide world to solve a cluckish problem and have many meetings with animals on the way.

Join us at Sandson’s farm, where a very charming rooster called George has some dashing chores for us.

OOC Details:

To participate as a chicken you will have to complete the introductory Flying the Coop quests. To do these, travel to Sandson’s farm in the Delving Fields in the Shire and talk to a rooster called George. This will bring you to a quest chain called The Sky is Falling. You will need to complete these to participate as a chicken:

More information is available on the LOTRO Wikipedia:

The Sky Is Falling Quests and Flying The Coop Quests

This time, we will do the North Downs run!

During this event, there will be a few hobbits to herd (protect) our adventuring chickens from being eaten by the dangers lurking in the wild. It’s up to you whether you want to participate as a chicken or a herder.

We will be using the regional chat (/regional) in-game in our chicken forms to communicate with each other. There will be someone in chicken form communicating with the herding team in order to keep us all connected.

This is a hobbit-preferred roleplaying event, though we welcome well-behaved folk of other races.

Meet at Sandson’s Farm in the Delving Fields in the Shire near George the Rooster. If you’re running behind, send a tell to an officer who will assist you in finding us!
