No, nay, never
About the song
Lotho Sackville-Baggins is a weasely menace and he deserves to hear it.
Best sung to Jethro Tull’s “A song for Jeffrey”, this song was written for the “Say no to Lotho” protest rehearsal by the Brandy Badgers back in 2018. I just never got around to posting the lyrics. I blame Lotho, he is a tricksy lad who likely tried to worm himself away from these lyrics. What can yer expect from a Sackville-Baggins, eh?
Say no to Lotho
He is Lotho Sackville-Baggins
He’s a rotter through and through
His face looks like a pimple
And he smells just like a shrew
His friends are a band of ruffians
They wear clubs and ferocious scowls
Even worse is his ma Lobelia
Her umbrella will make you howl
Say no, say no, say no to Lotho
Say no, say no, say no to Lotho
Say no, say no, say no to Lotho
No to Lotho
Now he wants to run the Shire
Now he wants to rule us all
It is time to make a stand to
ensure our homeland doesn’t fall
He is Lotho Sackville-Baggins
He’s a rotter through and through
He’ll buy up all your pipeweed
He will paint the Dragon blue
He’ll steal all of your silver spoons
And the pies from your window sill
He will sell them all to southern lands
Before closing down the mill
Say no, say no, say no to Lotho
Say no, say no, say no to Lotho
Say no, say no, say no to Lotho
No to Lotho
A song for Jeffrey
Here is Jethro Tull’s original song. Enjoy!
