Oinky oinky oink
About the song
Tibba wanted a Grand Squealing Oink Song. I wrote one. Why? OH WHY, yer might ask?
Because I got five jars full of fresh-baked biscuits, that’s why. I’m weak.
Best sung to “All together now” by The Beatles, it is a good sing-along if yer of the oinky type. So let’s hear it: “Oinking in the Shire”.
If yer want more hobbit songs (not oinker songs), have a look in me songbook.
Grand Squealing Oink Song
Pig, swine, hog, sow
Far more noise than horse and cow
Boar, shoat, oinker, warthog
Squealing all day
Roast, ham, pie, stew
Wash it down with Barmy’s brew
Ribs, loin, bacon, cutlet
Eating all day
And so the oinkers squeal, oinky oink
Full of zeal, oinky oink
Play a reel, oinky oink
Eat a meal, oinky oink
Oinking in the Shire
Squealing in the Shire
Oinking in the Shire
Squealing in the Shire
Pen, sty, mud, trough
Neighbours moan and neighbours scoff
Scent, stink, odor, vile stench
Reeking all day
Oinking in the Shire
Squealing in the Shire
Oinking in the Shire
Squealing in the Shire
And so the oinkers squeal, oinky oink
Full of zeal, oinky oink
Play a reel, oinky oink
Eat a meal, oinky oink
Oinking in the Shire
Squealing in the Shire
Oinking in the Shire
Squealing in the Shire
All together now
And here is the original Beatles tune. I am sure yer will agree it is quite an oinky tune.
