Credence: Trailer for the eventIn the early days of hobbits living in the Shire, a Great Plague spread from the south, leaving destruction in its wake. The new hobbit colony in the Shire struggled hard. This is the tale of of how The Shire recovered after the dark days. This is the tale of a lass living near the Frogmoors. Oh, and this is the tale of some badgers.
A band of musicians has drawn inspiration from the tales of the singing badgers of the Shire forest, and plan to go looking for them pesky critters. If they don’t find them, they invite yer to come and enjoy a night of songs and story. Welcome, hobbits! Look out yer back door before coming!
OOC
This is a music event set smack in the middle of the Frogmoors, so wear sturdy clothes! The area should be relatively safe from wild animals, but do look out for frogs hopping into yer pockets.
This is a hobbit-preferred event, although if there are travellers from out of bounds who have good reason to be into hobbit music, then by all means come! Just remember to behave well and stay at the back, so you don’t block the view of the locals!
The songs are based on the works of Creedence Clearwater Revival, which is rather wildly OOC for a Tolkien setting. But this may be fun nonetheless! Story and song lyrics are performed in /say. Be aware of the LOTRO chat bug, so be sure to come close enough to the performers to catch what they say!
